Newsletter Friday 12th March
Welcome back everyone!
It has been so lovely to see you all back at school this week and we have had a fantastic week with the children in school. All children have once again shown great resilience in adapting back into the routine of being back and have settled so well, showing outstanding focus towards their learning and thoroughly enjoying reconnecting with their peers and staff. I would like to take this opportunity again to thank you all for the hard work that you have put in over the past 2 months with remote learning - everyone has gone above and beyond and we couldn’t be more grateful for this. We are so lucky here at Herringthorpe to have such dedicated and supportive families.

Year 6 This week we have been learning about electrical circuits
and how when changing a variable it can affect the brightness of the bulb. We carried out our own investigations and shared our findings with the class. We have also been using our maths reasoning skills to create scaled drawings of lighthouses.
