Dear Parents/ Carers, The Summer term in Y5 will be full of exciting opportunities. As well as introducing our new topic: Earth in Space we also have a visit from a Planetarium booked for this term. This will give the children some idea of the vastness of Space. We will focus on a new class text ‘ The Jaimie Drake Equation’ by Christopher Edge. We will explore the Earth in Space through art, DT and French. Towards the end of this term, you will receive a report which will provide details of children current assessment levels, their progress over the year and their targets for moving into Year 6. We are really looking forward to the Summer Term! Yours sincerely Mrs J K Fearnley (Head Teacher) Mrs M. Adams (Head of School) Mrs Angus, Mrs Gilroy and Miss Scott (Y5 Teachers)
