Board Update May 2023

Hello neighbors and supporting businesses! The Willowsford Board of Directors are excited to provide an update in Stroll Willowsford as we move into the spring and summer months of 2023.

Here are some highlights to share: Playground Committee Update: A big thank you for all the hard work the Playground Improvement Committee put in over the last year. The committee brought a detailed proposal to the Board of Directors which was approved at the February board meeting. The approved equipment has been ordered with an expected late summer/early fall delivery. Replacements will be made to Bear Barn Treehouse (The Grange), Log Cabin Treehouse (The Grove), and the Lodge Pool playground area (The Greens). Improvements will be made to Paddock Gate Park (The Grange), Pin Oak Park (The Grove), Wild Plum Park (The Grant), and Everfield Park (The Grant).

With summer upon us, pool season is not far behind and our 2023 pool vendor is confirmed! Any necessary repairs will have been identified and completed by the pool opening. We want to wish the North and South Willowsford Waves another successful season!

As we get to warmer months of the year, we ask that you report any suspicious activity in the community. The Loudoun County non-emergency number is 703-777-1021.

We have several fun Lifestyle programs upcoming during the summer, as well as Camp Willowsford.
