Pool Party Perfection

Have you ever been on vacation and dreaded coming back home? If your backyard looked like the Moseleys, returning wouldn’t seem so bad! The Moseleys have lived in the Greens since January 2020, and just recently finished their amazing outdoor oasis. It is a beautiful modern space, with unique touches that include a sleek pool with Bluetooth lighting and temperature control, a spa corner, a louvered pergola, and an outdoor grill area. The Moseleys built their space large enough to host their many neighbors and friends with a perfect flow that avoids bottlenecks and tight spaces during parties.

“Our inspiration was getting outside and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings of Willowsford”, Christina says. Christina is also a Studio McGee fan (a well-known interior design firm owned by Shea McGee featured on the Netflix show “Dream Makeover”) and used similar materials from their most recent pool project. If you are thinking about beginning a backyard project like this, the Moseley family’s advice is to “think about how you want to use the space and consider a natural palette so you can outlive recent trends.”

Three words to describe their backyard now would be “family, fun, and friends”! In fact, one of the most memorable moments this summer was a MOMS ONLY pool day. “No dads and no kids!” Christina said. “We moms had a blast!”
