LEARN A LITTLE ABOUT
BY RESIDENT AND JUNIOR WRITER CARLEY EMILO THIS FEATURE SPONSORED BY MIGHTY CLEAN CARPET CARE
Lottie is my brand-new puppy, we got her on my mom’s birthday! It was actually a surprise: my dad was holding a phone and told me to read it. It said “Pug puppy for adoption,” and I immediately knew what that meant! My mom has always wanted a Pug. A cool fact is that she’s my uncle’s dog’s brother and his other dog’s cousin. She is 11 weeks old. If you see her you may think, “awe what a cute little puppy,” but that’s not what I think!

She is sweet but she can be a terror, especially when she’s in “shark mode”! You may be wondering “what’s shark mode”? Well, shark mode is something I call one of Lottie’s moods. She can be Nappy Pup, Demon, Shark Mode, Sweet, or Cuddly. Shark mode is when she chases me and my brother (and sometimes my mom and dad) around the house. When she finally manages to catch us she “bites” and even though it’s a puppy bite it can be painful! She can also be in that mood when my mom and I are taking Lottie on a walk. I usually wear Crocs, and Lottie HATES Crocs! She likes to attack my Crocs while growling. I don’t even know why! But Lottie’s not always a terror. Sometimes she is the sweetest pup ever! Like when she’s feeling cuddly and sweet, she’ll snuggle up with you! (But it doesn’t make up for the fact that she POOPS on my beanbag chair!) No matter her mood though, she is a part of our family!
