CAPTIVATE™ In 2020, Wiley X is redefining color by introducing our all-new, patented Captivate™ technology. Captivate™ lenses filter out ambiguous light, increasing clarity and definition with vibrant contrast and vivid detail. Offered in multiple lens colors to provide situation-specific benefits in variable light conditions. Captivate™ lenses block all UV/HE rays and meet ANSI Z87.1 and EN.166 safety standards for unparalleled protection.
The visible light spectrum runs in a range of wavelengths from Ultraviolet to Infrared and is measured in nanometers. A typical human eye will respond to wavelengths from about 380 to 740 nanometers.

THE VISUAL BENEFITS OF CAPTIVATE™ LENSES ENHANCED COLOR CAPTIVATE™ filters out confusing light where blue merges with green and green merges with red. This allows more "clear" lightwaves where it’s easier for your eyes to see, resulting in enhanced blues, greens and reds for a true color experience.
GREATER CLARITY Blue light with shorter wavelengths and higher frequencies scatter light and create haze. By filtering out this “bad” blue light, CAPTIVATE™ removes the haze and allows distant objects to be seen more clearly.

SCRATCH/ABRASION RESISTANCE
Wiley X utilizes a proprietary oleophobic coating on all Captivate lenses to create a smoother lens surface, which helps to keep dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from sticking to the lens. This in turn helps prevent smudging and water spots, making the lenses much easier to clean than an uncoated, standard lens.
Captivate lenses achieve a Bayer 7 rating* for scratch resistance. A rating of 4 or higher equates to a premium coating.

ANSI OPTICAL CLARITY All Wiley X lenses meet the strictest ANSI optical clarity requirements. We tirelessly test all of our lenses for the accuracy of vision, refractive, resolving and prismatic powers. Unlike ordinary lenses that can bend light and distort the true size of objects, our lenses are de-centered and tapered to ensure true spatial relationship of objects and distortion-free clarity.
FILTER 8™ POLARIZED Our proprietary Filter 8™ polarized lens technology filters light to reduce glare and block reflective light. It includes two Slick™ hydrophobic coatings, two Selenite™ polycarbonate lenses, two T-Shell™ scratch-resistant layers, one Violet 4™ anti-reflective coating, and a Filter 8™ polarized film layer that creates 100% polarization and gives you 100% UV protection. ANSI EXPLAINED
THE MARK OF HIGH PERFORMANCE
ANSI stands for the American National Standards Institute. ANSI doesn't actually set standards; rather, it approves the establishment of committees that set the rules that companies use to develop products. It oversees the testing process and approves the final products as American National Standards, or ANSI-rated.
ANSI RATED LENS AND FRAME MARKS
ANSI Z87.1 prescribes the design, performance specifications, and marking of eye and face safety products—setting the standards they must meet for protection and clarity. Products in this category include glasses, goggles and face shields (among others).
WX Precedes all ANSI rating marks and designates Wiley X as the manufacturer of the product.
Z87 The eyewear frame and temples or goggle frame passes the ANSI high velocity and high impact test.
-2 The frames can be fitted with a prescription lens, which is the case with most Wiley X eyewear.
+ The spectacle or goggle frame, temples and lenses have been tested to the High Mass and High Velocity Impact requirements of ANSI Z87.1 Safety Standard.

ANSI HIGH MASS IMPACT TEST Wiley X ANSI-rated frames and lenses must withstand the impact of a 1.1lb. projectile dropped from a height of 50" to ensure your eyes are protected from unexpected blunt force impacts.
ANSI HIGH VELOCITY IMPACT TEST Wiley X ANSI-rated frames and lenses must withstand the impact of a .25" diameter steel ball. For spectacles the projectile must be traveling 150fps and for a goggle 250fps.
V0 BALLISTIC TESTING Several Wiley X eyewear models are tested to V0 ballistics which consists of a spectacle frame and lens being impacted with a .15 caliber projectile traveling 640-725fps depending on Mil-Standard and model, or a goggle frame and lens with a .22 caliber projectile traveling 550-590fps depending on Mil-Standard and model. This test is meant to simulate shrapnel that may be encountered on the battlefield.
REMOVABLE FACIAL CAVITY™ SEALS Fine dust and pollen, as well as wind, can cause long-term eye irritation, such as Dry Eye Syndrome. Peripheral light can also diminish optical clarity. Wiley X's removable soft foam Facial Cavity™ Seals block out even the finest irritants and peripheral light, protecting the eyes and allowing polarized lenses to perform at peak levels.

Digitally mapped and tested to rigorously high standards, each prescription lens is etched and certified by Wiley X as a guarantee that you’re getting the highest quality prescription lenses available.
RX LAB PARTNER In Wiley X's preferred partner lab, top optical professionals work with state-of-the-art lens manufacturing equipment to create extremely precise lenses. With the highest optical and quality standards in the industry, our lab yields prescriptions that are 10 times more accurate than those of conventional labs.
DIGITAL EDGE THINNING Through a process called Digital Edge Thinning, our proprietary lab has the ability to develop high-prescription lenses for eight base frames that meet the highest safety ratings. Digital Edge Thinning is a lens technology developed for enhancing vision for higher prescriptions in wraparound sports frames. This process allows us to create lighter and thinner lenses for prescriptions as high as -7.00 to +5.00 in most styles, providing improved appearance without compromising frame integrity.

LENS OPTIONS Wiley X offers three types of lenses directly from our labs. The only way to certify that your prescription lenses meet ANSI Z87.1 standards is to use the Wiley X preferred partner laboratory.
DIGIFORCE™ LENSES Wiley X DigiForce™ digital lens technology allows us to customize Rx lenses for our high-wrap frames. By combining the wearer's prescription and frame measurement, our advanced digital lens process creates crisper and clearer optics, enhances color contrast, and minimizes distortion. Digiforce™ Single Vision Our digital lens technology customizes each prescription to the wearer’s face form, resulting in crisper and clearer optics compared to standard single vision prescriptions.

WX BLUE ANTI-REFLECTIVE WX BLUE is a premium “Blue Blocking” AR, specially designed to filter out the harmful blue light produced by PC’s and handheld digital devices. WX BLUE AR offers superior scratch resistance and features hydrophobic and oleophobic layers that repel water, smudges and fingerprints.

PRODUCT WARRANTY NON-PRESCRIPTION WILEY X, INC. EYEWEAR has a limited lifetime warranty covering any and all manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. YOUTH FORCE® AND WORKSIGHT® EYEWEAR are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a maximum period of 2 years. NON-PRESCRIPTION JOHN DEERE® AND DVX™ EYEWEAR is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a maximum period of 1 year. (John Deere® warranty applies to USA and Canada only). PHOTOCHROMIC LIGHT ADJUSTING™ LENSES are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a maximum period of 18 months (proof of purchase for Photochromic Light Adjusting™ lenses is required). GLOVES are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for a maximum period of 2 years. SCOPE OF COVERAGE: Wiley X will repair or replace covered items at the sole discretion of Wiley X, as needed and as available (identical or equivalent style) at no charge. Out of warranty items may be repaired (if repairable), replaced, returned, or destroyed, at the option and sole expense of the purchaser. EXCLUSIONS: This warranty does NOT extend to and excludes: a) any and all Wiley X products purchased through Amazon, eBay, or any non-authorized 3rd party websites, dealers or labs b) damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratched lenses and broken frames, hinges, and nose pieces c) damage resulting from abuse or misuse, d) damage resulting from tampering or customer modification e) damage resulting from exposure to harmful substances, elements or conditions f ) other damage to covered items not resulting from a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship as Wiley X shall decide in its sole discretion, or g) lost or stolen items
PRESCRIPTION WARRANTY The following prescription (RX) warranty extends to Wiley X, Inc., DVX™, and John Deere® eyewear. RX WARRANTY: Prescription orders processed through Wiley X, Inc. will have a two (2) year warranty from the date of purchase on frames and lenses deemed by Wiley X, Inc. to have manufacturing defects. Prescriptions filled by non-authorized labs will void all Wiley X, Inc. frame and lens warranties. Prescription frame and lens warranties must be handled through the local retailer / dispensing optician from which they were originally purchased. SCRATCH/COATING WARRANTY: Wiley X, Inc. will provide a one (1) time scratch redo for lenses with frontal surface scratches due to normal wear for one (1) year from the date of purchase. If a coating was purchased (anti-reflective, anti-scratch, anti-fog, or a mirror) the warranty is extended to a one (1) time redo within two (2) years from the date of purchase. The customer will receive eyewear in the identical form (same frame, lenses, prescription, etc.) DOCTOR REMAKE: A one (1) time doctor remake on Wiley X, Inc. made prescription lenses is permitted within a forty-five (45) day period from the original order date. The dealer will be charged in full for the remake then will subsequently receive a credit when the original prescription glasses are returned to the Wiley X, Inc. Prescription Department. Original orders must be returned within thirty (30) days of the remake order. All doctor remakes will be billed a $10.00 shipping fee.

PRESCRIPTION WARRANTY continued RX CHANGES/CANCELED ORDERS: If the lenses are not in process, prescription changes and order cancellations will be accepted at no charge. Any requests made after a customer order has been put in process will be charged at 50% of the dealer cost. NON-ADAPTS: Dealer will have forty-five (45) days to return a prescription order that is deemed “non-adapt” by their customer. In this instance, the dealer will receive a full refund on the frame and 50% credit on the RX lenses and coatings. No credit or refund will be issued for non-adapts submitted after forty-five (45) days. LAB ERRORS: In the event of lab error, prescription lenses will be replaced at no cost within a forty-five (45) day period of the original order date. Redo will be credited upon receipt of original frame and lenses. PATIENT OWNED FRAME (POF): Wiley X, Inc. accepts POF orders, however, frames must pass Wiley X, Inc. quality inspection. Prior to sending the POF, please verify that the prescription and the measurements are within the tolerance of the Wiley X, Inc. RX Frame Parameters. Please remove any existing prescription or non-prescription lenses from the frame prior to shipping. Wiley X, Inc. will not provide any warranty or be held responsible for any lost or damaged lenses on previous prescriptions sent in with a frame. DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS: Wiley X, Inc. will not RX frames that have been discontinued for longer than six (6) months. SHIPPING: Please package your POF and/or return product securely and use a traceable carrier. Wiley X, Inc. is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during transit caused by carrier or any outside factor. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of a high wrapped frame and in order to achieve superior optical quality, prescription lenses will be compensated accordingly with the consideration of wrap angle, tilt, and vertex distance to be customized to fit your customer’s vision needs. This may result in prescription power differential from the one your eye care professional has prescribed. Please do not hesitate to call the Wiley X, Inc. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES Returns and exchanges will not be accepted without receiving prior authorization to include an assigned return authorization number. For every one item returned, at least one item must be purchased. Returns must be in resalable condition, as determined by Wiley X for product not discontinued longer than six months. All returns must be shipped prepaid from point of origin, unless prior arrangements have been made. No COD returns accepted. New orders resulting from exchanges will be shipped upon receipt of returned merchandise unless other arrangements have been made with Wiley X. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges, both inbound and outbound. Returns should be sent to the attention of the RETURN DEPARTMENT.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS All Wiley X models may be combined when compiling a quantity order. Extreme care is taken when packaging all products we ship.
