Use scissors and cu t the plastic to fit the to p of your can. You will be pu tting the lid on over this, so make sure it is a close fit and then glue it in plac e.
Once everything has dri ed really well. Put the lid on your kaleidoscope, look throu gh the eye hole and twist the lid around to see magical mo ving shapes!
