Step 4

‹ ‹ Tissue paper, glitter, and sequins Scissors, a hammer and nail (Please ask an adult to help you with these tools!) Step 1 Roll a piece of tin foil and put it inside the can. Mark and cut off extra.

Step 2

Cover the outside of the tube with your left-over wrapping paper. For this, you want a sheet of sticky backed plastic. Cut a square and tape it sticky side up to the table. Add decorations. Press another square of sticky backed plastic over the top to seal it. Step 5 Step 6 Use scissors and cut the plastic to fit the top of your can. You will be putting the lid on over this, so make sure it is a close fit and then glue it in place.

Ask an adult to use the hammer and nail to punch an eye hole in the sealed end of the can.

Step 3

Once everything has dried really well. Put the lid on your kaleidoscope, look through the eye hole and twist the lid around to see magical moving shapes!
