Meet Rosie!

She is about 1 year old and a female mixed breed dog. This lovely girl is energetic and playful. She is medium-sized with a short coat. She would do best in an active home that can give her daily exercise for both her mind and body. She will need to work on training and socializing. She would do well in a home with older children, and with proper introduction, another dog. We do not know how she is with cats. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please fill out an online application at humanesocietyyukon.ca.. If you already have a pre-approved application with us within the last year, call 633-6019 to put your application towards her.

Shelter Hours: Tuesdays - Fridays 12pm-6pm Saturdays - 10am-6pm 126 Tlingit St, Whitehorse, YT Y1A 6J2 | Tel: 867 633 6019 humanesocietyyukon.ca

MORNINGS

Got Puppies…? Did you know that if you surrender all the pups to YARN, we’ll raise the pups, pay for all their care and veterinary costs, find them homes using a responsible adoption process – and spay your mama dog for free and give her back. We are trying to reduce the future over’PUP’ulation in the North, by adopting to family’s that will spay & neuter. Each female dog that is not spayed could produce up to 67,000 descendants in her lifetime. Unwanted dogs - suffer.
