The Benedictine complex of San Pietro al Monte in Civate
Uno dei complessi abbaziali più interessanti dell’intera Lombardia, meta di notevole interesse storico, artistico, religioso. Situato a 662 metri slm, lo si raggiunge dal paese di Civate su mulattiera in un’ora circa di cammino.
One of the most interesting abbey complex in the entire Lombardy region, destination of important historical, artistic and religious value. Located 662 meters above the sea level, you can reach it from the village of Civate following the mule track (one hour walk).

Escursione ad anello nella splendida cornice del Triangolo Lariano, con meravigliosa veduta sul Lago di Como dal versante nord del Monte Bolettone, attraverso un pittoresco bosco di faggi, nel tripudio dei colori autunnali (durata 4 ore e 1/2 ca.)
Ring excursion in the beautiful setting of the Triangle of Lake Como, a beautiful view of Lake Como from the northern side of Mount Bolettone, crossing a wood of beech trees, surrounded by the beauty of autumn colors (about 4 and 1/2)

Visita di oltre 40 Presepi originali allestiti nelle chiese, case e cortili del paese e che partecipano all’annuale concorso promosso dalla Proloco di Torno. La visita comprende anche la Chiesa di San Giovanni, nella quale è custodita la reliquia del Santo Chiodo (mattino – durata ca. 2 ore)
Visit over 40 Christmas cribs in the churches, houses and courtyards of the village, they take part in the annual context promoted by Proloco in Torno. The visit also includes the church San Giovanni, in which it is held the relic of the Holy Nail (in the morning - about 2 hours)
