Easter weekend is one of the most exciting times of the year! It’s a time when we celebrate the incredible love of God as we remember that He came to us to bring us to Him. Because of the cross we’ve been offered forgiveness and because of the resurrection we can have eternal life. Good Friday and Easter Sunday is all about how far God was willing to go in order to defeat sin and death. When you think about it, it really is amazing that Jesus would be willing to humble himself and give up so
As followers of Jesus, it is our privilege to adopt the same mindset. We have the opportunity to go out into the world and spread that same message. So, as we get ready to celebrate Easter weekend and the message of a God who would give up His life to save us, I want to ask you this question:
WHO ARE YOU BRINGING? There’s somebody in your life that needs to hear the life-changing message of Jesus, and maybe Easter weekend is the
time that they’ll be most open to an invitation. Would you consider stepping out of your comfort zone and inviting someone to join you? The best way we can respond to Jesus’ offer of salvation is to extend the invitation to others. It is going to be a fantastic weekend of celebrating who God is and what he is doing! You won’t want to miss it, and you’ll definitely want to make sure that your friends and family have a chance to join us. So, who are you bringing?
