3.On the island of the lotus eaters, it’s really hard for them to escape because its the perfect place, they get treated like royalty, but Odysseus has to keep persevering.

8.But then, Calypso trapped Odysseus on her island with her for 7 years, but then the gods finally let him go to be with Penelope

So there you go, Odysseus's journey is certainly a lesson in perseverance!
