Well done to Ciara O'Connor, Cloghane, whose Digital Greeting Card design was selected to be presented to Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show recently. Ciara attends Méan Scoil Nua an Leith -Triúigh, Castlegregory and is a student of art teacher Rebecca Wall. Her design was inspired by Ryan's love of The Beatles and features a yellow submarine and strawberries.
Pobalscoil Corca Dhuibhne will be staging a Variety show called Drámaráma on 1st and 2nd of March at 7:30pm in the School Hall and the show will be performed through Irish. The transition year students have been practising their dance routines, songs lyrics and acting since last September. The show will present a variety of entertaining selections from musicals such as Les Miserables, Annie, Once and Footloose, songs from Nathan Carter and Brendan Behan and from Frozen, as well as more novel acts including Thriller, and much more.
