gary rogowski, a custom furniture maker, is also known internationally as a teacher, lecturer, author, and designer. in 1997, he founded his school, the northwest Woodworking studio, a school for Woodworkers, in Portland, oregon. He has written extensively on the craft of woodworking with The Complete Illustrated Guide to Joinery in its 20th printing for taunton Press. His latest book is called Handmade, Creative Focus in the Age of Distraction, linden Publishing.

dr. James ciaravella is a retired cardiac surgeon and a 13 year juried artist at the Western design conference. He sculpts, paints and makes furnishings accented with hand tooled leather. He designed and sculpted the navy seal monument in shreveport, louisiana, and his work is in two museums.

Jeter case, artist and jeweler, received his degree in jewelry design, and works with his wife Jan, one of the nation’s top certified gemologist appraisers; they established J. c. Jewelers in Jackson, WY in 1988. Jeter creates pieces of noble metals and precious stones, meant to be worn and handed down for generations. a master jeweler, his work is worn worldwide with his passion for jewelry design palpable in every piece.
wILLIAM PEACE Bozeman, mt William Peace, of Peace design is a member of asid, icaa, the soane Foundation and sits on the advisory Board of the college of design at the university of kentucky, his alma mater. He is the recipient of multiple national design awards with work featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest, Mountain Living, Ranches of the American West and Rustic Elegance.
