Since 2014, WeShine World Dance Competition, hosted by the US Chinese Dance Association (USCDA) has become one of the most influential dance competitions in the Bay Area and has been praised for its professionalism and impartiality. WeShine's mission to “learn from one another, progress together, discover new talents, and promote different cultures” creates an educational and social exchange platform for dancers around the world. WeShine is honored to create a positive environment to inspire dancers and create lifelong memories.
Dedicated to recognizing and encouraging dancers from around the world, WeShine has attracted hundreds of entries, bringing together thousands of dancers not only from the Bay Area, but also from out of state and China. In 2020, WeShine attracted over 100 registered entries across the US and internationally across 5 countries - including Brazil, Germany, and Singapore. Our winners have also been featured on beautiful floats at the 2020 and 2022 San Francisco Lunar New Years Parade. We are proud to recognize teachers, choreographers, parents, and students themselves for their dedication and hard work.
