Reopening Business & Schools in SLV Santa Cruz county has moved into the red tier of the reopening roadmap. As such, businesses and schools can have a limited reopening. This includes indoor dining, aquariums, museums, dance studios, gyms and movie theaters. Also outdoor amusement parks and outdoor events, including sports and performance with limited capacity. Schools will look a little different In SLV schools will reopen on a restricted schedule. Some students/parents can request to keep students on the online instruction while others can choose to do a hybrid model which is half online and half in person. Monday will alway be asynchronous learning which means they will be working on assignments on their own without online or in person contact with the teacher. For high school students online instruction will be

First the parent does an at-home symptoms screen with temp checks prior to leaving for school, classroom doors & windows open when possible, all students and teachers must wear a mask unless a person is exempt, secondary students will only be in-person attendance in the afternoons. Students and staff will clean their hands upon entering the classroom with hand sanitizer. Portable hand washing stations will be available around the school campus.
