With a smile and all the fixings you can imagine, it is a haven for the community, a great place to stop in and slow down for a moment. Signs remind patrons that it is a cell-phone free environment, encouraging connecting with others. This treasure brings art, music and culture to the forefront. Overall, the environment is both comforting and invigorating, just like the drinks they brew. The White Rave was established in 1983, and still serves Larry’s Famous Chai, the signature brew of the former owner. Honoring the legacy of those who came before her, Rose Woolf took over in 2019 just prior to the pandemic and was forced to lay off all 12 employees in one week.
