Hello, little pals of the Cat Academy!

February, the shortest month, is also the grandest in terms of love, friendship, and especially, kindness. Kindness is the gentle breeze that warms hearts and makes the world a better place, and in Martial Arts, we have countless chances to spread this magic.

Picture kindness as a treasure chest, filled with smiles, shared moments, and endless goodwill. Just like flowers need sunshine and rain, kindness blossoms with care and consideration.

Heart-Shaped Oatmeal Cookies Hello little chefs! It's Kiara here, and today we're going to make some delicious and healthy Heart-Shaped Oatmeal-Almond Flour Cookies packed with the nutrients you need to stay strong and energized.

Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup almond flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1/4 cup honey 1 large egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Heart-shaped cookie cutter 1 Ask a grown-up to help you preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2 Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

3 Mix together the rolled oats, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.

4 Whisk together the coconut oil, honey, egg, and vanilla extract.

5 Stir the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients.

7 Sprinkle a bit of flour on the surface. Roll out the dough and use the heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out your cookies.

Once upon a time, there was a special place called the Cat Academy, where cats of all kinds gathered to learn the ancient art of taekwondo. At the head of the academy was Master Chung, a wise and kind Tiger who believed in the power of not just physical strength, but also the strength of the heart.

One sunny day at the beginning of February, the month of love and friendship, Master Chung gathered all the students.

"Hello, my dear students! As you know, this is the month of love and friendship. I have a special challenge for each one of you," Master announced.

He explained, "I want each of you to perform acts of kindness throughout this month. Whether big or small, let your hearts guide you to spread love and happiness. Excitement filled the air as the cats eagerly accepted the challenge. Days passed, and soon it was time for the big sharing day. Master Chung, gathered all the cats in the mat.

Akira, an adventurous lioness, spoke first. "I helped my old and grumpy neighbor, Mrs. Paws McGrouch, plant some flowers in her garden. She was a bit scary, but I made a new friend!"

Cleo, a clever tabby cat, shared, "I volunteered in my school's cooking club led by Professor Whiskerstein. We cooked delicious food for the hospital and it felt great to help those in need."

Shawn-Yee, a smart young lion, proudly mentioned, "I went to the beach with the Whisker Watch Conservation Club and helped protect turtle eggs from predators. It was an adventure, and I felt like a hero!" wemartialarts.com | thecat.academy | Master: (305) 494-8395 | Registrations (305) 284-0900

Sami, a talented cheetah with a love for music, chimed in, "I played drums with my school band, ”Purrfect Harmony”, at a fair. We collected funds for a toy drive, and everyone danced and had a blast!"

Peter Jack, a joyful cheetah, surprised everyone by sharing, "I helped T. McScratcherson, the school bully, with an assignment.

Turns out, he just needed a friend to guide him."

Lee Donahue, the courageous caracal, said, "I decided to read stories to little kids in the Fluffington Hospital. Their smiles were the best reward."

Musa, an athletic panther, shared proudly, "I participated in the "Stride for Shelter 5K run" to collect funds to find houses for homeless cats. It felt great to use my energy for a good cause!"

Kiara and June, both instructors black belt of the Cat Academy, presented a beautiful jar. "We made a Compliment Jar for our Dojo. Cats can write or draw compliments for each other. It's a way to spread positivity and boost our dojo spirit!"

Master Chung listened to each story with joy and pride. "I am so proud of each and every one of you. Your acts of kindness have not only made our Cat Academy stronger but have also touched the hearts of those around you. Remember, the true strength lies in a kind heart."

The Cat Academy celebrated their month of love and friendship with a joyful feast, and the cats continued to cherish the lessons of kindness they had learned.

Taekwondo started with counting points by judges

They put special sensors so we could score points accurately and have fair fights.

Electronic body protectors make sure we score points when we kick and punch.

If someone thinks the score is not fair, we can check the video and make sure everyone is happy.
