The Tehillim of the Chofetz Chaim’s mother was handed to him, its well-worn pages a testament to the countless hours she had spent pouring her heart out to the Eibishter. As he received it, he couldn't help but be overcome with emotion, tears in his eyes. "Do you know," he began, his voice tinged with a combination of awe and humility, "how many tears my mother shed over this very Tehillim? How many heartfelt tefilos she whispered to the Eibisheter, for the well-being and spiritual growth of her son?"

"All she wanted," he continued, his voice filled with tenderness, "was that her son, should become an Erlicha Yid."
