Alumni are encouraged to come back to campus to see first-hand the changes that have enhanced our campus over the years. We are also working hard to proactively connect with our alumni through reunions, alumni events, and taking the Webb story on the road to alumni receptions throughout the country. Last year, we introduced the “Thirsty Thursday School” social gathering for alumni in the Knoxville area. Thirsty Thursday School has been well received! We look forward establishing similar gatherings in other cities. Webb also hosted special alumni receptions with Head of School Michael McBrien in both Washington DC and Atlanta this past year.

Rita and I were thrilled to spend this past year as the co-chairs of the 2016-2017 Annual Fund. The education and experiences that both of our children have received at Webb have been invaluable. The Webb community of teachers, staff, and our fellow parents have become a

second family for us. To be able to give back to the school through leading this important endeavor was an honor. This year’s Annual Fund was a remarkable success. The Webb family of current parents, alumni, grandparents, staff, and friends of the school gave over $560,000 to help Webb provide greater opportunities for students in our community. While we were the “face” of the Annual Fund, it would not have been so successful without the help of the many volunteers, gradelevel captains, and alumni who helped. Most importantly, we are grateful to every member of the Webb family who gave to the fund in support of our school and students.
