EVENING EVENING RACING RACING

There is a wide variety of food and drink available before and during the races. Treat yourself at one of our dining and bar facilities
The Gallery Restaurant is a top class facility, ideal for couples and small groups. Tables are exclusive for the day and offer stunning, panoramic views of the entire racecourse, especially the finishing straight and winning post.
The Gallery package includes admission, together with a four course menu. However, this is extremely popular and early booking is advisable. For reservations, please call 01789 267 949.
All our bars are now serving locally produced warm hand-crafted sausage rolls, Cornish pasties, cheese & onion slices, steak slices and vegan slices. For those with a sweet tooth we also offer a selection of muffins, including chocolate, lemon and blueberry.
There are various other food outlets around the site, together with a variety of bars throughout the racecourse, serving a selection of beers, spirits, wines, champagnes and soft drinks.
Welcome to this the first of our race meetings in July
We would also like to welcome and thank all of this evening's owners, sponsors and the numerous corporate hospitality guests we have in the boxes. We wish them all an enjoyable evening's racing
Our next two race days are both Sundays in July; Sunday 13th is Family Day, the day will have lots of complimentary children’s entertainment in the centre of the course, including fairground rides, inflatables, laser tag and several other activities. Sunday 20th is set to be a more glamorous affair as it is Ladies Day. We have lots of prizes from a weekend racing break, racing yard tour, spa breaks and much more. To book tickets or a table in one of our restaurants please see the website www.stratfordracecourse.net or call Wendy or Sue on 01789 267949.
All of us here at Stratford Racecourse are committed to ensuring that you have a great day out. If you have any suggestions, complaints, questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us. BETTING FORECAST:
6-5 Schmilsson (GB), 13-8 Finest View (GB), 13-2 Aspire Tower (IRE), 12-1 Black Hawk Eagle (IRE)
RACE SUMMARY:
SCHMILSSON and Finest View have both taken very well to fences and preference is for the former, who made it 2-2 in this sphere at Perth last month. A 5lb rise for that looks fair and he appeals as the type to go on to better things. Aspire Tower is talented, but this is a big ask under a hefty weight and Black Hawk Eagle will need to step up on his hurdles form if he’s to make winning start over fences.
