1. Pick your Racehorse, look around for the best odds on course, try to proffer the correct stake money for your wager
2. Ask the Bookmaker for your bet, name the horse, (the bookmaker won’t necessarily know it’s number). Listen to the bookmaker repeat your bet to his clerk, correct bookmaker if he makes a mistake and receive your Betting Ticket as a receipt for your bet

4. Check with the bookmaker when placing a bet, the Place Terms. Place Betting, not all on course bookmakers accept each way bets, ie. for a win or a place.
5. In the unlikely event of a dispute after adhering to this procedure, the bookmaker will tell the punter to approach the Ring Official, who will advise the racegoer as to his rights
6. Some course bookmakers have minimum stakes. e.g. £1, £5 or £10 but small backers are catered for in the racecourse Betting Shops.
In conjunction with The RCA, the bookmakers have introduced standard each-way terms Bookmakers will provide these terms, or better, when offering each-way betting.

6-5 Komedy Kicks (IRE), 5-2 Estacas (GER), 5-1 VE Day (IRE), 15-2 Hobie (FR)
RACE SUMMARY:
The filly KOMEDY KICKS probably isn’t entirely straightforward, but she didn’t do much wrong when chasing home an upwardly mobile type at Fontwell recently and shades preference ahead of Estacas. The latter is likely to appreciate this drop back in trip after also finding one too good at Fontwell and he is clear second choice, given that VE Day has failed to build on his hurdles debut success and Hobie needs to take a sizeable step forward.

RACE SUMMARY:
This can go the way of ADMIRAL’S SUNSET, who took advantage of a much-reduced mark to spring a surprise on return at this track just under a fortnight ago and, nudged up just 4lb, David Weston’s 10-y-o could well take some stopping provided she’s in the same mood. Blaze A Trail proved a revelation last season and he heads up the dangers chasing an impressive 6-timer, with Swaffham Bulbeck third on the list.
