CONGRATULATIONS FRANCESCA!
Huntingdon Racecourse would like to congratulate Francesca Altoft on winning the coveted ‘Photo of the Year’ trophy at the 2021 Horserace Writers and Photographers Association (HWPA) Derby Awards earlier this month. Francesca was winning the award for the second consecutive year. Her submission captures a dramatic moment when Tease And Seize was acting up before a race at Bath. Thankfully his jockey Charlie Bennett was able to get him under control and they finished second that day. Tease And Seize has since won two races over hurdles and we are sure that there will plenty more awards going Francesca’s way in the future too. We are proud to say that Francesca is Huntingdon Racecourse’s own raceday photographer and her work is very much appreciated.
