Jim is simply a legend in racing having recently bagged his 1,000th career win here and he shows no sign of slowing down. On Monday here he saddled a double courtesy of Ayr Poet and Water Of Leith taking his total for the season to 39 just seven short of his best every year on the flat in 2014. He has several outstanding chances this evening including with Bobby Shaftoe in the Havana Club Handicap at 7.58pm.
Paul is riding at the very top of his game just now and had a double here on Monday with Ayr Poet and Water Of Leith taking him to 11 winners from 56 rides at the track this season. He is enjoying one of his best ever years and his association with Jim Goldie has blossomed over the years. Paul’s mounts tonight include Sophiesticate in the Absolut Maiden Handicap and this filly has been running well in defeat.

The Fahey yard has a superb record at the track down the years winning virtually all of our major races and there’s scarcely a meeting at Ayr where Richard isn’t represented. Tonight his runners include Carva Myrine in the Whitley Neill Gin Maiden Stakes at 6.23pm. This unraced three year-old is well bred and is worth a market check. He also runs Cisco Disco in the Tennent’s Lager Handicap at 6.53pm.
Oisin joined the Richard Fahey team earlier in the season and has been riding a steady stream of winners including four winners here.
