Downtown project continues By Loretta Cozart Work continues on the patio outside 133 West, soon to be Kings Mountain’s newest restaurant. Heavy rains during the last few weeks have slowed construction progress outdoors, but a curved sidewalk has been poured and a platform for the new stage is taking shape. The restaurant now sports a new awning on the patio and fresh paint outdoors, indicators that completion is near. In back, a rear entrance has been added. Public access from the Cherokee Street parking lot through to Mountain Street will still be available once the restaurant opens.
