Classic Green Bean Casserole Serves: 6–8 Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup ¾ cup milk 1 tsp soy sauce (optional but adds great flavor) ¼ tsp black pepper 4 cups cooked cut green beans (about 2 cans drained, or 1 lb fresh blanched) 1 ⅓ cups French fried onions (like French’s) — divided

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix together soup, milk, soy sauce (if using), and black pepper.

3. Stir in green beans and 2/3 cup of the fried onions.

4. Pour mixture into a 1½-quart baking dish.

5. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

6. Stir, then sprinkle the remaining 2/3 cup onions on top.

7. Bake for another 5–10 minutes, until the onions are golden brown.

Optional Add-Ins

Cheesy version: Add ½ cup shredded cheddar or parmesan before baking.

Fresh twist: Use fresh green beans (trim and boil for 4–5 minutes first).

From scratch: Make a quick homemade mushroom sauce with butter, mushrooms, garlic, and cream instead of canned soup.

PUMPKIN PIE INGREDIENTS: 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

INSTRUCTIONS: Prepare Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until well blended Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 35-40 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Fall Recipe

Creamy Pumpkin Pasta Prep Time : 15 mins

Ingredients : 2 tbsp olive oil 1 onion, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, crushed 500g pumpkin, cut into cubes 50-100ml whole milk 2 tbsp tomato purée 2 tbsp mascarpone 350g short pasta 40g grated parmesan

Cook Time : 35 mins

Servings : 4 portion

Procedure : STEP 1 Heat the oil over low-medium heat. fry the onion with a pinch of salt for 10-15 mins.

Add the garlic and fry for 1 min more.

STEP 2 Cook the pumpkin for 10-15 mins until tender Drain and tip into a blender Blitz with 50ml milk and the onions Mix with the tomato purée and mascarpone bring to a simmer over low heat.

STEP 3 Cook the pasta and drain it.

Toss the pasta with the pumpkin sauce, parmesan, and 50-100ml of the reserved water to loosen.

Season with parmesan.

Notes : Place leftovers in an airtight storage container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

🎉 2025 Parade: What to Know & Watch For 1.99th Edition 2. Because the parade was suspended during World War II (1942–1944), even though 2025 is more than 100 years from the first parade, 2025’s event is officially the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

3.Date & Time It will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2025. The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time and typically wraps up around noon.

4.Route & Length The route covers approximately 2.5 miles through Manhattan.

It starts (public route) around West 77th Street & Central Park West, then heads south, turns east at Columbus Circle, and proceeds down 6th Avenue to Macy’s Herald Square.

The parade ends at Macy’s Herald Square on 34th Street.

5.Bands & Performers One new band joining for 2025 is Alcorn State University’s “Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite” — their first appearance in the parade.

The parade features a mix of marching bands, floats, giant character balloons, musical acts, and more.

6.New Balloons & Floats (Predicted / Rumored) 7. According to some fan-sourced lineups: New character balloons are expected to include Buzz Lightyear (Disney/Pixar), Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen), Ender Dragon (Mojang / Minecraft universe), Warrior Kitty (LEGO Group), and others.

A new float called “Land of Glaciers, Wildlife & Wonder” (sponsored by Holland America Line) is listed in some prospective lists.
