Kids ages 3-12 will build self-confidence and have fun through games, functional movements, and exercise. Each class provides children with a portion of their prescribed amount of exercise for the week and will improve their muscular fitness, endurance, and lay the foundation for movement patterns through the intentional programming of various kinds of play. To foster children’s overall health and well-being social-emotional learning skills are also developed through our classes. Children are given the opportunity to learn new skills, build resilience when things are challenging, and push through the fear of failure while believing in themselves.

CHILDREN NATURALLY COMPARE THEMSELVES TO OTHERS, AND AS ADULTS, WE DO IT TOO. HOWEVER, THIS COMPARISON CAN SOMETIMES LEAD THEM TO BELIEVE THEY'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH IF THEY DON'T HAVE WHAT SOMEONE ELSE HAS. TO PROMOTE HEALTHY EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT, IT'S IMPORTANT TO TEACH CHILDREN THAT THE ONLY PERSON THEY SHOULD COMPARE THEMSELVES TO IS THEIR PAST SELF.
Encouraging self-comparison allows children to recognize their personal growth and take pride in their hard work. When they achieve a goal, they understand why, and when they don't, they learn to keep moving forward. Here are three effective strategies to help your child develop self-comparison skills:
1. Avoid Comparing Your Child to Others
Comparing your child to others can make them feel like their worth depends on how they rank against someone else. Instead, meet your child where they are and emphasize that they're making progress. Encourage them to be the best version of themselves rather than trying to be the best compared to others.
2. Celebrate Progress Over the End Result
Shift the focus from the end result to the progress they make. Regardless of the outcome, highlight their effort and determination. Make it clear that their personal growth and learning are about them, not anyone else. For example, say, "You may not be the best in class, and that's okay. What matters is that you're better than you were last time because you keep trying and working hard."
We have volcanoes here!
If you found a genie in a bottle, what would be your three wishes?
I would wish that my brothers legs wouldn’t hurt. I would wish that my Dad would have lots of money and we would all live together. I wish my friends would move to class instead of Jakarta. What do you think is the meaning of life?
LOVE!
3. Teach Goal Setting and Tracking
Help your child set and track personal goals. This practice fosters new behaviors, concentration, and momentum. When your child encounters difficulties and says, "I can't do it," add a simple "yet" to the end of the phrase. This small addition changes the whole meaning, reminding them that each attempt brings them closer to their goal. It sends a powerful message that progress is what counts.
Supporting your child's progress and goals, and nurturing their internal comparison abilities, are key elements in helping them develop a growth mindset. Encourage them to focus on their journey of improvement rather than comparing themselves to others.

METATAH, OR THE TOOTH FILING CEREMONY, IS A SACRED AND ANCIENT RITUAL IN BALINESE HINDU CULTURE. THIS SIGNIFICANT RITE OF PASSAGE TAKES PLACE DURING A BALINESE INDIVIDUAL'S TEENAGE YEARS, TYPICALLY BETWEEN AGES 16 AND 18.
Its core purpose is to symbolize the transition from adolescence to adulthood while emphasizing spiritual and moral growth. The process of Metatah involves several essential steps. Prior to the ceremony, the individual undergoes a period of spiritual preparation, which includes fasting, meditation, and prayer to cleanse both the body and mind. On the day of the ceremony, they dress in traditional Balinese attire adorned with symbolic elements like flowers and rice grains. A Hindu priest leads the ceremony, offering blessings with holy water, incense, and various offerings. The most significant part of Metatah is the tooth filing itself, where skilled practitioners carefully file the upper canine teeth. This act symbolizes the removal of negative traits and impurities. Following tooth filing, a purification ritual occurs, often involving a ceremonial bath or the application of sacred herbs to the filed teeth. The priest bestows blessings upon the participant, praying for their well-being, spiritual growth, and protection from negative influences. The day concludes with a joyful celebration involving family and friends, complete with traditional Balinese music, dance, and a grand feast. This communal celebration reinforces the island's strong sense of community and family values. Metatah is deeply rooted in Balinese Hinduism, and its symbolism is multifaceted, representing cleansing, the transition to adulthood, Balinese cosmology, and the importance of community and family. This sacred rite of passage serves as a testament to Bali's rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions, underscoring the enduring significance of self-purification and spiritual growth as individuals journey into adulthood in this enchanting island paradise.
Mepantigan is an eccentric traditional balinese martial art that has been passed down through generations. This tradition dates back to the 1930’s before the indonesian independence. It is an ancient form of self defense that involves the use of combative techniques and defensive strategies. The distinctive aspect of mepantigan is that it is performed in a mighty mud pit, adding a new level of difficulty and exhilaration to the artform.
BALI: THE ISLAND OF GODS. MOST RECOGNISED FOR ITS PRISTINE COASTS, RICH TERRACING RICE PADDIES, AND MOUNTAIN RANGES. A MORE MASKED ASPECT OF BALI PRESENTLY IS ITS ABUNDANT CULTURE.
The origin of mepantigan, Mepantigan has its roots in the ancient balinese warrior tradition; it was used as a way to train soldiers in physical combat and cultivate inner strength. The word “mepantigan” comes from the sanskrit language and means “to test or challenge.” This reflects the nature of the sport as it involves adequate amounts of physical and mental exertion, as well as strategy and skill. It specifically targets your strength, balance and coordination skills. Mepantigan also combines elements of balinese dance, acrobatics, and gamelan together to create the spectacle that it is.
Mud pit fighting The mud pit is the principal aspect of mepantigan, adding an extra challenge to the already physically demanding sport. The mud adds an element of unpredictability, as fighters are forced to adapt to the unusual environment. Typically this includes slipping, sliding, and losing their footing. Despite the added challenges, all the participants find the mud pit to be a fun and exciting aspect of the sport. For all the people eager to take part in this activity, mepantigan classes are available for tourists to attend. It’s guaranteed that the atmosphere will exude lively, energetic energy.
Mepantigan: an incomparable tourist activity Mepantigan has evolved into a popular tourist activity in bali, attracting visitors from all over the world who are looking for a different
and thrilling cultural experience. The sport is performed in open-air arenas, with spectators often cheering and encouraging the fighters. The mud pit also provides a great opportunity for photos and memories that will last a lifetime; as an added benefit, the mud hydrates and draws out impurities from the skin.
In closing, mepantigan is a unique and exciting martial art that provides a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of bali. The mud pit contributes an aspect of unpredictability to the martial art, making it a must-see and try for any tourist visiting bali. Whether you are a martial arts enthusiast or merely just looking for a fun traditional extravaganza, mepantigan is sure to impress. So, if you’re in bali, be sure to check it out and experience the thrill of this ancient and captivating artform!

IF YOU LIVE IN BALI, THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT SOMETHING NEW TO YOU.
Youfind this stuff almost every day and everywhere. It is called as canang sari. Canang sari is a religious upakāra (equipment) for hindus in bali for daily offerings. These offerings can be found in temples, on statues, shrines, homes, and on the street.Canang sari is often used for daily prayers in bali. Canang sari contains a meaning as a symbol of the vedic language to ask sang hyang widhi, god almighty, to ask for the power of widya (knowledge) for bhuwana alit (microcosmos) and bhuwana agung (macrocosmos). The terminology of canang comes from “ca” which means beautiful, while “nang” means purpose or intention, “sari” means source or core. Therefore, canang sari can be defined as a means to achieve a goal which is the beauty (sundharam) before ida sang hyang widhi wasa. Balinese put some elements in canang sari which are flowers, porosan (made from betel, leaves, chalk and gambier), four flowers of different colours, banana and sugar cane, rice, fragrant oil and fragrant powder.
The base of canang sari is made of young palm leaves named ceper, it represents the earth and the moon. The four flowers of different colours put in canang sari have special meanings: the white flowers point to the east and it is a symbol if iswara, one of the primary forms of god. The red flowers are commonly used to represent the south, which is the place of god brahma. The yellow flowers (marigold) are point to the west, the place of mahadeva, the most supreme god. The blue or green flowers are used to represent the north, for god vishnu, the protector of the universe and preserver within the hindu trinity of the divinity.
Usually before making an offering, it is better to start by purifying the offering, namely by placing a hand on the forehead while chanting the mantra, then take a flower. After we finish chanting the mantra, throw the flower or throw it forward towards the offering. Thus, all the means of offering have been purified and ready for us to offer.

When you first arrive in Bali, you’re first reaction might be “What a beautiful view!” or “Where’s the beach?”. What would probably be another appropriate reaction, especially when you step out from the airport and drive or take an Uber to your hotel, villa, or temporary renthouse, is “Where did these dogs come from?”. Anywhere you end up, you can’t swing a cat around Bali without hitting at least three dogs at the same time… probably because that would just be cruel. And what type of dog you end up hitting can be as varied as well, ranging from pomeranians to huskies to Bali’s very own breed, the Kintamani, an inhabitant for centuries upon centuries with little variation in genetics. And once you start seeing them, many more questions may come to mind, such as “Is it okay to feed them?”, “Does this dog have rabies?”, or “Can I keep this stray?”. Luckily, you’re reading this article, in which I’ll try and explain (almost) everything you need to know about the free dogs of Bali.
First of all, why are there so many dogs in the first place? The impressive population of pooches is mostly because of a low rate of sterilization on the island, due to carelessness and/or a lack of money. This combined with their free-roaming and little human oversight lead to various ‘encounters’ that lead to puppies, who grow up and continue this cycle. Speaking of free-roaming, it doesn’t matter at all if these dogs are owned or strays: Bali dogs just seem to naturally be fiercely independent, especially impressive since only at least 10% of them actually are homeless. Bali dogs have also been seen to form gangs, their temperaments ranging from roadroaming Rovers to territorial tyrants to sleeping
stair-dwellers across various regencies on the island. Owning a Bali Dog means letting them run around the entire neighborhood and finding them watching, as vigilantly as a stone gargoyle, strangers pass by from the gates or, if you happen to own a Kintamani, the top of your garden shrines.
On the matters of them being fed, it is a fairly common sight to see food being left out for dogs; even without humans around, dogs will be happy to scarf down on offerings and scraps thrown away. This serves as a benefit to us: the stench of rotting food decreases for one thing, and creatures that thrive on such stench and trash such as rats and snakes. If you look at it in a certain way, Bali dogs are a bit like janitors, cleaning up after everybody. This mutually beneficial relationship manifests as a protective streak, barking away intruders such as the aforementioned rats and snakes.
In regards to rabies and keeping strays, just remember that only some dogs in Bali are the latter. Meanwhile, while a mass outbreak of rabies a decade or more ago due to a lack of immunization, various organizations in Bali have since vaccinated enough dogs that rabies have not had a resurgence… though you might still need a rabies shot for safety purposes. And while you can’t just get a dog off the street, the same various organizations can help organize an adoption or, if you aren’t living full-time in Bali, arrange a more-than-week-long fostering. All in all, dogs in Bali are free and fun-loving. Just be careful to keep your food away from them.

SAKANAYA FISH MARKET SEMINYAK BALI IS ONE OF THE MARKETS THAT YOU CAN VISIT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE CULINARY LOVERS WITH PROCESSED SEAFOOD.

Here, you will find restaurants displaying various types of fish and other marine catches in glass aquariums. That way, you can make sure that any seafood they provide is not the result of preservation in the refrigerator. You can find fish menus such as shiro, tuna, mahi-mahi, snapper, or tuna. selecting the right products is paramount for achieving your desired look. From shampoos to styling aids, the market is inundated with choices. Here's a concise guide to help you make informed decisions when choosing men's hair products.
Understanding Your Hair Type: Before diving into product selection, ascertain your hair type. Is it straight, wavy, curly, or coily? Knowing this will determine the products best suited for your unique hair. Identify Hair Concerns: Are you dealing with dandruff, dryness, or thinning hair? Identifying specific concerns allows you to choose products tailored to address these issues effectively.
Shampoo and Conditioner: Begin your hair care routine with the right shampoo and conditioner. Opt for sulfate-free options to prevent over-drying, and ensure they match your hair type and concerns.
Styling Products: To style your hair, consider your desired look. Pomades provide a shiny, sleek finish, while clays offer a matte texture.
Gels give a strong hold, and waxes provide a medium hold with a matte finish. Creams are versatile, and mousses add volume.
Ingredients Matter: Check product labels for ingredients. Natural components like aloe vera, shea butter, and jojoba oil are nourishing and gentle. Steer clear of alcohol-based products to avoid drying out your hair.
Hold and Finish: Determine the hold and finish you want. Some prefer firm holds for a polished look, while others opt for flexible holds for a casual appearance. Choose the finish that aligns with your style, whether it’s matte, shiny, or somewhere in between.
Allergies and Sensitivities: If you have allergies or sensitive skin, opt for hypoallergenic and fragrance-free products to prevent irritation.
Trial and Error: Finding the perfect hair product might require some experimentation. Don’t hesitate to try different options until you discover the one that works best for your hair and style.
In conclusion, choosing the correct men’s hair products involves a thoughtful assessment of your hair type, concerns, and style preferences. By paying attention to ingredients, hold, finish, and any sensitivities you may have, you can curate a grooming routine that not only helps you achieve your desired look but also keeps your hair healthy and vibrant. Embrace the journey of trial and error, and remember that finding the ideal products is a personal quest that leads to greater self-confidence and style.
THE MELUKAT RITUAL IS CARRIED OUT BY BATHING OR POURING A PERSON'S BODY WITH SPRING WATER. BECAUSE OF THIS, MELUKAT IS ALSO CALLED A HOLY BATHING RITUAL.
There are seven types of melukat ceremonies, namely melukat astapungku to clean and purify the calamities caused by the influence of the day of birth and the unbalanced tri guna (satwam, rajas, tamas). Then there is melukat surya yomana to remove stains and dirt on babies, melukat gini drifting for the treatment of illness, melukat prabu to ask for prosperity for the leaders, and melukat gomana, melukat semarebada, and melukat nawa ratna. Melukat is a ceremony performed to cleanse the soul and mind in humans. This tradition is carried out to clean up the mess of negative energy nodes of humans with the help of the universe. With purification, the layers in the human body are cleaned to make it more balanced, the mind will be brighter, full of steadfastness, peace, far from anger, and compassion. Balinese people continue to guard it to clean or purify themselves. Hindus in bali believe that every human being has a dirty nature and must be cleaned. So the melukat tradition is carried out to get rid of various negative things in humans.
The means used in melukat are holy water (usually made spiritually or from holy springs), fragrant (flowers of various types and colors), young coconuts are small or called bungkak, usually use green bungkak (bungkak gadang) and yellow bungkak (bungkak ivory)), and means of offering ceremony called pejati and canang. This ritual is also believed to provide positive benefits if done correctly and regularly and diligently, for example every full moon, tilem, or kajeng kliwon. However, keep in mind that hurting is not a way to atone for sin. For hindus, the law of karma only stops when one has experienced moksha or complete liberation.
Ganesh, the revered elephant-headed deity in Hinduism, is not only a prominent figure in the religion but also an iconic symbol of wisdom and intellect. The Ganesh statue, often found in homes, temples, and public spaces across India and beyond, serves as a powerful reminder of the deity's profound significance in Hindu philosophy.
Ganesh is widely known as the "Remover of Obstacles" and the "Lord of Beginnings," attributes that highlight his role in guiding individuals through life's challenges and transitions. The symbolism of the Ganesh statue is rich and meaningful: his large head represents wisdom and knowledge, while his small eyes symbolize the ability to see the truth, even in the minutest details. His big ears signify the importance of attentive listening and learning, and his trunk, both strong and flexible, symbolizes adaptability and the capability to grasp both the subtle and the substantial.
In addition to wisdom, Ganesh represents the idea that intellect should be coupled with humility and kindness. His broken tusk, often depicted in the statue, serves as a reminder that wisdom can sometimes be gained through sacrifice. The Ganesh statue, therefore, embodies the balance between intellect and humility, offering valuable life lessons to those who seek his guidance.
Beyond religious significance, the Ganesh statue has found its place in art and culture worldwide. As a symbol of wisdom and intellect, it resonates with people from diverse backgrounds, inspiring them to approach life's challenges with a blend of knowledge, humility, and adaptability. Whether as a religious idol or a work of art, the Ganesh statue continues to be a revered symbol of wisdom, guiding individuals on their spiritual and intellectual journeys.
