This class introduces young players to the game of tennis in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Using age-appropriate equipment – including smaller racquets, red balls and a 36-foot court – children are able to build confidence while learning the basic skills of the game. Emphasis is placed on developing hand-eye coordination, footwork, balance and the foundational strokes (forehand, backhand and volleys) through creative games and interactive activities. Players will also begin to understand rallying and cooperative play, setting the stage for future progression.
Designed for players who are continuing to develop their game, this class focuses on refining proper technique, improving footwork and enhancing rally skills with greater consistency and control. Players will work on establishing reliable groundstrokes, directional hitting and transitioning from baseline to net. Through structured drills, cooperative rallying and point play, students will learn how to construct points, maintain longer rallies and apply tactics in live-ball scenarios. This class is ideal for players who are progressing toward socialcompetitive play and looking to solidify their foundation on a 60-foot court using the orange ball.
Designed for players who are ready to transition to a full-size court, this class emphasizes the development of more advanced stroke production, movement and match play skills. Using the green dot ball—which offers a slightly lower bounce and slower speed—players can focus on refining their technique while gaining confidence and consistency. Each session incorporates a combination of drills, live-ball rallying and situational point play to help students improve footwork, shot selection and strategic thinking. Players will also learn how to structure points, develop a stronger serve and apply tactics in competitive scenarios—all within a fun and supportive environment that fosters growth and sportsmanship.
Designed for junior players typically ages 11 and up, this class is played with standard yellow tennis balls on a full-size court. Players in this program have developed solid fundamentals and are ready to elevate their technical, tactical, physical and mental skills to a higher level. Each session includes focused drills on advanced stroke production, footwork efficiency, serve and return strategies and point construction. Players will participate in high-level rallying, match play and fitness components to prepare them for competitive play, including USTA tournaments and school team competition. This class fosters discipline, sportsmanship and strategic thinking in a dynamic and challenging environment, helping players take their game to the next level.
This fun and fast-paced 60-minute class introduces junior players to the exciting world of pickleball. Designed for kids of all skill levels, this program focuses on building fundamental skills including paddle grip, dinking, volleys, serves and footwork, all while learning the rules and scoring of the game. Through engaging drills, mini games and live play, students will develop hand-eye coordination, agility and court awareness in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether your child is brand new to pickleball or looking to sharpen their skills, this class is a great way to stay active, make friends and build a love for the game.
