SEAN MCGARRITY ‘14

Sean McGarrity ‘14 received a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. While at USMMA, he spent a year working on US-flagged merchant vessels traveling to fifteen countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. “My four years has allowed me to qualify as a licensed Third Assistant Engineer in the United States Merchant Marines. I will also be commissioning as an Ensign in the Naval Reserve Strategic Sealift Officer community. Upon graduation, I will begin work as a Mechanical Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia.” My Catholic education at Waldron Mercy and the love I have for my faith has inspired me to join the Knights of Columbus, so that I can continue to spread the love that Jesus has for all of us. Sean is also a graduate of The Episcopal Academy.
