What do you sell, and what made you want to sell these products?

We sell smooth, natural Shea Butter products and lotions. The reason why I wanted to sell them is because I have always had a passion for being a salesperson and I like business. When I was younger I thought that cool guys with businesses that wore fancy suits were awesome!

What’s one important lesson you’ve learned in owning a business?

Sell what you can and if you know that you can’t, then don’t. If you have a good product, sell it but don’t sell a bad product just for the money. Keep your quality high because you want people to know that you are a person of your word.

What advice would you give anyone wanting to start a business?

Never give up because there will be some things that will be tough. You’ll have to deal with the money, the product, and sales. You can do this with hard work, effort, and people to back you up.

What has WMA taught you about being a young entrepreneur?

My teachers have helped me to learn. Math is helping me to learn what I need for pricing and in Social Studies we learned a fun way to manage a business through a game.
