Summer in Tasman - What a place to be! Welcome to summer, and to the final edition of the Waimea Weekly for the year. Nelson and Tasman are fantastic places to live, but they’re even better places to holiday in. Waimea Weekly’s Holiday edition is full of news and information

about our region, and what there is to do to make sure you have the best holiday in Nelson and Tasman. Soaking up the sun, spending time with friends and family, enjoying great local food and drinks, and experiencing great

entertainment, there is plenty to do over the summer holiday. This summer is expected to be another big one in terms of tourism, and why wouldn’t it be? The Nelson and Tasman regions are home to some of the country’s best beaches and national parks,

with great bars and restaurants to finish the day. The region is also playing host to a number of great events over the summer. The Jazz and Blues festival, movies in the park, along with acclaimed Kiwi bands Shihad and Stellar* bringing in

the new year in Riwaka. Enjoy the music and the food. Enjoy our region. Enjoy the sun, the rivers and beaches, and on behalf of everyone at the Waimea Weekly, have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
