Successful Season

Boys' Tennis has had a triumphant season this year. Their regular season has ended and some of the doubles teams will soon be heading into the CIF Individual Two of our Bronco teams have qualified for these league finals Ahil / Nathen and Victor / Brandon. Another Bronco team, Aditya / Peter, has also qualified as an alternate.

Gratifying Game

I spoke with Peter Tudor about his experience being on the tennis team this year I began the conversation by asking about tennis in general and what he feels the most beneficial part of playing a team sport such as this one was His response was that playing doubles has helped him learn to work together with one person a lot and to raise each other up in energy to play better. Speaking about our Bronco team in particular, Peter says that "the team is very close and we love to joke We especially have fun with the new freshmen on the team " Having such a fun and welcoming environment definitely helps this team thrive in the competitive tennis world. As mentioned, three of our Bronco tennis teams have qualified for CIFs However, this does not mean they did it easily Peter tells me that some of this year's challenges "have been the many close losses throughout the season and getting just over a tie in a head-to-head match." Regardless, they were able to overcome and succeed in later games Lastly, I asked Peter what his favorite moment was this season, to which he responded that it "was winning all three matches against Carlsbad with Aditya as we played really well that day, and it was some of the most fun I have had in my life " This team really has come together this season and will hopefully prevail in the future
