I cannot believe where the time goes! Is it really six months since our last newsletter? 2025 is looking like it will be another bumper year as have already operated over 80 tour departures throughout Britain, Ireland and the Continent. So, the team have been exceptionally busy, but we would not want it any other way.

AWARDS

We were proud to be judged as a Finalist in Customer Service category at the Chichester & Bognor Regis Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Awards – held on 20 June at The Avisford Park Hotel in Arundel.

We are also thrilled to announce that we have also been named a finalist in the prestigious Route One Awards for ‘Small Coach Operator of The Year’! The Awards shine a light on the very best operators, individuals and initiatives across the sector recognising those who deliver exceptional levels of service, support their communities and raise standards across the board. The nomination is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and professionalism of our entire team.

The Award Ceremony will be held in Birmingham in November, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

LOOK OUT FOR OUR NEW COACH

–A brand new 49-seater Irizar i6 is due to arrive end of July. Once it has it’s Woods branding, it will be taking our customers on holiday all over Britain and the Continent.

EVENTS

We were really happy to take part once again in this year’s Bognor Regis Carnival, held on Saturday 24 May, when we led the procession. The theme this year was ‘Out of this World,’ and we entered into the spirit of it by transporting visiting aliens to Area 51 (well, West Park). As well as these guests, we transported the mayor along with her fellow judges and our local MP Alison Griffiths.

Another wonderful recent event was the Bognor Regis Motor Gala – ‘A Drive Through Time’ – on Sunday 06 July. Hundreds of people came along to this showcase of over 150 classic and vintage vehicles from 1920s to modern day. Mike and our coach were there, and Lynn and Wendy from our transport department were handing out brochures and the chance to win two tickets to a show at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton. Congratulations to Denise York, who is off to see Mamma Mia! In November!
