Meeting the interim needs of homeless people and families, onsite keyworker and student accommodation, modules are provided on a turnkey basis, fully equipped for immediate occupation and Net Zero Carbon Performance as required.
Supporting net zero objectives, right from the initial concept stage, the decision was reached to develop a modular solution to exceed the predicted Future Homes Standard. Relieving the burden on public sector clients of ongoing expenses associated with traditional temporary accommodation and negating fuel poverty, our range of modular homes provide a future-proof solution to the UK housing crisis that cost just £5 per week to run.
Through World Class Manufacturing principles and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) protocols, VOLUMETRIC™ adopts a lean and process-driven approach to increase efficiency and consistency. With a ‘right first time every time’ ethos, all modules undergo a fully traceable factory inspection and test plan linked to a unique serial number. We provide site installation supervision to ensure end to end quality control. Delivered 100% complete ready for installation, all modules are future-proof for Building Regulation changes. LABC Assured and BOPAS Certified, our modular homes are fully tested and commissioned predelivery with high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout.
VOLUMETRIC™ adopts a partnership approach and works in close collaboration to develop bespoke modular homes to meet individual site briefs and budgets. SOLOHAUS™, DUOHAUS™ and FAMILYHAUS™ homes achieve lower whole life carbon impact than equivalent timber frame dwellings of the same size – supporting net zero goals. All modules in the MODULHAUS™ range are fully interoperable and can be configured to create mixed-use and mixed-tenure schemes. Stackable and relocatable, modules are designed to meet unique requirements and various applications.

Launched in April 2020 to great acclaim, SOLOHAUS™ was crowned Winner of Winners at the 2021 Offsite Awards. Offering comfortable and secure living with ultra-low running costs, our single-occupancy module was originally conceived to provide dignified and independent living for people who find themselves homeless.
DUOHAUS™
Picking up the Product Innovation trophy at the 2022 Offsite Awards, DUOHAUSTM was initially developed to meet the demand for onsite accommodation for keyworkers during the pandemic. Designed for double occupancy, DUOHAUSTM has now been used for various applications where additional space is required.

FAMILYHAUSTM
Designed for families who are at risk of experiencing homelessness, FAMILYHAUSTM offers an alternative to high-cost and often poor quality interim housing for two adults and two children.
FAMILYHAUS+TM
Three-bedroom option available to accommodate two adults and three children, providing the same high performance and energy efficiency of our single and double occupancy modules.
Available in a range of claddings and colour combinations, our MODULHAUS™ homes require only electric, water and waste connections. Design features include renewable energy technology and ergonomic internal fully fitted living space with bedrooms, shower-rooms and kitchens complete with furnishings and low energy white goods. With optional extras and modifications to enhance site functions and various needs.
Designed to exceed the predicted Future Homes Standard with Environment B and A rating and emissions as low as 229.5Kg CO2/year, MODULHAUS™ technology significantly exceeds energy efficiency and sustainable requirements. Modules are 100% factory fitted, delivered in one-load, virtually eliminating traffic to site. VOLUMETRIC™ is committed to working sustainably. We aim to inspire and lead through cutting-edge technology, material optimisation, energy-efficient processes and a deep understanding of our products and their environmental impact.
Winner of Product Innovation at the 2022 Offsite Awards, our revolutionary Energy Centre developed by VOLUMETRIC™, meets the energy needs of up to six modules, operating as a centralise heat and power plant room. This intelligent technology is digitally connected to each module – instantly responding to demands for hot water, heating and energy requirements. Although modules have mains connection, the Energy Centre can meet demands at most times of the year with solar/PV panels as energy generated during the day can be stored in battery cells until required. Surplus energy goes back into the grid, carbon offsetting and creating net zero living.
VOLUMETRIC™ have modules in stock for immediate delivery. With options to purchase outright under a full turnkey package or modular homes can be supplied under a Lease Purchase arrangement or hired under a long-term Lease Agreement. All options are available with the choice of fully integrated routine and reactive maintenance services.
All MODULHAUS™ homes sit on low-impact foundation pads to minimise groundworks and are fully relocatable and can be moved to meet changing housing needs. Our commissioning process includes a fixed price package for easy cost planning. Our package provides site surveys, foundation requirements, incoming services, delivery to site, crane installation and commissioning.
All homes in the MODULHAUS™ range are fully relocatable and recoverable, meaning that over 95% of a project can be reused, making it a highly sustainable asset that meets the principles of a circular construction economy.
