• The Colorado Latino Exit Poll (CLEP) is conducted biannually to help bolster research around the attitudes and policy preferences of Latino and Latina voters — the state’s second-largest and fastest-growing ethnic voting bloc.
• It is part of the Colorado Latino Agenda (CLA), a research initiative co-led by Voces Unidas and COLOR to provide insights into the demographic makeup and views of Latino adults in Colorado on pressing policy, political, and social issues.
• BSP Research has conducted all surveys for the CLA initiative since 2021.
METHODOLOGY – SURVEY SPECIFICATIONS
• The nonpartisan survey was conducted with a randomly drawn and representative sample of Latino voters (N= 600, +/- 4%) across the state of Colorado.
• The survey also includes an oversample of Latino voters who reside in CD-1, CD-3, and CD-8, the district with the largest Hispanic population in Colorado.
• Field Dates: October 24 – November 5, 2024
• Data was collected through a blended approach including web-based and telephone interviews (both landlines and cell phones) in either Spanish or English.
• Sample resulted in 56% self-identified Democrats, 23% Republican, and 21%
Independent. In regard to ideology, 47% of the sample self-identifies as liberal, 34% moderate, and 19% conservative.
