AVISO IMPORTANTE ¿QUIÉNES NECESITAN ACUDIR A LA JUNTA DE INSCRIPCIÓN PERMANENTE? Si quiere votar en la Primarias Presidenciales del Partido Republicano de Puerto Rico el domingo, 6 de marzo de 2016 y pertenece a uno de los siguientes grupos, debe pasar por la Junta de Inscripción Permanente (JIP) de su precinto en o antes del sábado, 6 de febrero de 2016. • Si es Ciudadano Americano residente en Puerto Rico, que en o antes del martes, 8 de noviembre de 2016, tendrás 18 años cumplidos y nunca se ha inscrito para votar. • Si no votó en las elecciones generales de 2012, votó añadido a mano, se mudó o tuvo problemas para votar en esa elección. • Si su Tarjeta de Identificación Electoral (TIE) se perdió o está deteriorada. • Si tiene algún familiar que cualifica para Voto Ausente, para que busque una solicitud y se la haga llegar. • Si tiene una incapacidad temporera o permanente que le impida subir o bajar escaleras, que le ocasione dificultad o inseguridad al caminar, que utilice sillas de ruedas o tiene problemas de visión, puede solicitar que se le asigne al Colegio de Fácil Acceso de su Centro de Votación. Cualquier miembro de su familia puede ir en su nombre a la JIP de su precinto y solicitar el formulario. Este debe ser completado, firmado por el elector y devuelto a la Junta de Inscripción Permanente (JIP). • Las Juntas de Inscripción Permanente (JIP) abren de martes a sábado de 8:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. y de 1:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. • Excepto, Arecibo 026, Bayamón 009-010 y 011, Caguas 082, Carolina 106, Carolina 108, Fajardo 099, Guaynabo 006, Mayagüez 042, Ponce 060 y 062, San Juan 001, San Juan 003, San Juan 004, San Juan, 005, San Juan Isla, Unidad Móvil San Juan, Toa Baja 014 y Trujillo Alto 109, que abren de lunes a viernes de 8:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. y de 1:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. Recuerde, la fecha límite para inscribirse vence el sábado, 6 de febrero de 2016. IMPORTANT NOTICE WHO NEEDS TO GO TO A PERMANENT REGISTRATION BOARD (JIP)? If you want to vote in the Republican Party of Puerto Rico Presidential Primaries on Sunday, March 6, 2016 and you belong to one of the following groups, you shall go to your precinct’s Permanent Registration Board (JIP by its Spanish acronym) on or before Saturday, February 6, 2016. • If you are an American citizen resident of Puerto Rico, that will be 18 years old on or before Tuesday, November 8, 2016, and have never been registered as a voter. • If you did not vote in the 2012 general elections, voted provisionally “added by hand”, moved or had problems voting in that election. • If your Voter Identification Card (TIE by its Spanish acronym) is lost or damaged. • If you have a family member that qualifies for Absentee Vote to get and send a request form. • If you have a temporary or permanent disability that prevents you from walking up or down stairs, that causes difficulty or unsteady walking, use a wheelchair or have vision problems, you can request to vote at the Easy Access Polling Place at the Polling Center. Any family member can get the request form at your precinct’s Permanent Registration Board (JIP). This request form should be completed, signed by the voter and sent to the Permament Registration Board (JIP). • The Permanent Registration Boards (JIP) shall be open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 8:00AM to 12:00AM and from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. • Except, Arecibo 026, Bayamón 009-010 y 011, Caguas 082, Carolina 106, Carolina 108, Fajardo 099, Guaynabo 006, Mayagüez 042, Ponce 060 and 062, San Juan 001, San Juan 003, San Juan 004, San Juan, 005, San Juan Isla, San Juan Mobile Unit, Toa Baja 014 and Trujillo Alto 109, that open from Monday to Fridays from 8:00AM to 12:00AM and from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.
