On the 14th September 2021 Docklands Community Centre hosted an open evening event to all trustees and the community. It was a great turn out! The lounge was filled with stalls for Docklands, ACE's music studio and Raised in St. Pauls. The public were able to ask any questions about their services and discuss their achievements and goals. A member of ACE's studio provided us with an amazing performance of her singing, there was a big crowd watching her. Bristol Breakers also joined us in the sports hall to show off what they get up to in their practice sessions; even some parents joined in! A tour took place of the nursery upstairs (Raised in St. Pauls), this was great for parents to see. We had Junior prepare and serve us up some wonderful jerk chicken from our courtyard BBQ. We also had a vegetarian food option from Baba Ganoush, it was delicious as usual. Lastly, we had Full Circle's youth activities taking place in the sports hall, they undertook arts and crafts, games and hair braiding. Overall the event was a great success to show the community what Docklands has to offer. We are now ready to be hired!
