Assessing number of articles per journal and a number of average citations, data seem to point to Risk Analysis and Public Understanding of Science as the most relevant scholarly sources for research on CC communication. These journals were also identified as leading in previous literature reviews on risk communication and environmental communication research (Gurabardhi, Gutteling & Kuttschhreuter, 2004, Pleasant, Good, Shanahan & Cohen, 2002).
