PURO | Progetto Urbano ROio is a participated urban planning project powered by Università degli Studi di L'Aquila with VIVIAMOLAq as developer of the workshop and arch. Walter Nicolino as scientific coordinator and project supervisor.
The project involved 12 students from different Departments of UNIVAq [engineering, urban sciences, social sciences, human sciences, economics] and tried to redefine a local strategy to connect the neighborhood of Roio [south side] with the city focusing on mobility relationships and the daily troubles with it.
This document represent the merge of all the studies, the interviews, the drawings and the considerations made.
This is also a collection of suggestions and good practices wich everyone could activate on the area.
