I
n 1990, the singing trio Wilson Phillips released their selftitled album, and it sold more than 10 million copies worldwide. Today, Carnie and Wendy Wilson, and Chynna Phillips are hoping lightning strikes twice with their new CD release, Dedicated. The music is a collection of classic songs by the Beach Boys and The Mamas & the Papas. Wendy and Carnie are the daughters of the
Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, and Chynna is the daughter of John and Michelle, from The Mamas & the Papas. Between projects, the group has had its share of health challenges: Carnie’s weight struggle and gastric bypass, plus Chynna’s depression. Yet all three women feel hopeful about the future.
