Ubuhle Women: Beadwork and the Art of Independence June 26-October 10 This mesmerizing exhibition showcases a new form of bead art, the “ndwango,” developed by a community of women working together in South Africa. The Nature of Light: An Exploration After Dark August 4–October 30 Witness the historic Paine estate, indoors and outside, transformed into a spectacular display of illuminated sculptures by HYBYCOZO and dazzling environments by Lightswitch.

Iridescence: Collection Highlights in the Sawyer Library April 2021 through April 2023 The Durow Trust presents the colorful exhibition Iridescence in the Sawyer Library. The exhibition demonstrates how iridescence has impacted the decorative arts and design and showcases iridescent items in the Museum’s collection. The exhibition also introduces three new acquisitions of iridescent glass pieces recently added to the Museum’s decorative arts collection.

Learn about her fascinating life and career through never-before-seen archival documents and photographs, and admire her skill and technique through a selection of her beautiful sculptures.

Sports & Recreation Opens Fall 2022 For decades, the unique landscape of Oshkosh and the Lake Winnebago Region has been the setting for outdoor adventures and rousing sporting events. This new longterm exhibition explores the how sports and recreation connect us to the landscape and to each other. Learn about how activities like ice boating, hunting, bowling, and more developed in Oshkosh through historic photographs and nostalgic artifacts.
