Class of 2023 College Admissions Profile • Independent, Catholic, college preparatory day school for young women founded in 1833 by the Sisters of the Visitation of Holy Mary. Visitation Academy is one of four schools in the Visitation Salesian Network. The other Visitation schools are in Mendota Heights (Minnesota), Georgetown (Washington, D.C.), and Brooklyn (New York).

• Admission into the four-year Upper School is competitive and is based on standardized test scores and grade school records.

* The Class of 2023 engaged in virtual distance learning for the last 26 days during the final semester of their freshman year. Grades remained the same for students who completed all required assignments. Final exams were not administered. Students started sophomore year virtually but were in person from Labor Day to the end of the school year. Our transcripts will appear identical to our pre-COVID transcripts. The counselor’s recommendation will reflect anything remarkable during that time. Reach out to the student’s counselor with any questions.

• Each year, freshmen, sophomores, and seniors must complete two Salesian service experiences, one per semester.
