Write clearly and legibly on the board/flip chart, and utilize visuals at appropriate times

Listen to what the participants have to say and respect their views.

Ask questions which start with words like ‘why’, ‘what’, ‘how’ in order to encourage discussion and understand how participants are following the lesson.

Make examples and activities relevant to their past experiences. If you have a short story or example to help illustrate the example, feel free to share it.

Use group activities to liven up participants when they look tired or dull.
•
Make learning FUN and smile at your participants. This way, you will have the full attention of the group.

Always appreciate the participants’ contributions.

Conclude the sessions by asking a participant to share key points they learned
