A BIG MONTH FOR BELHAVEN BREWERY!

The Belhaven Brewery team celebrated two brilliant wins last month at this year’s Scottish Beer Awards and Icons of Beer Awards..

Belhaven Black secured the award for the Best Porter or Stout in the style category at the Scottish Beer Awards, beating 10 other finalists. Belhaven Best was also a finalist in the Best British Style Ale category and the brewery for the Excellence in Branding award.

The Scottish Beer Awards were founded in 2016 and aims to recognise the best breweries and beers in Scotland. The independent competition is judged by a panel of experts drawn from across the sector, bringing together industry experience and market knowledge to recognise the greatest achievements in the brewing sector in Scotland.

Just a few weeks prior, Belhaven Brewery also secured the highly commended status across the world for its Visitor Experience at the annual Icon of Beer Awards. This is the third year in a row that the brewery has secured a result in the category.

The Icons of Beer Awards, which is part of the World Beer Awards, are a celebration of the years of hard work that go into every bottle of beer. From the brewers themselves and brand ambassadors, to visitor centre managers, and the industry’s communicators, the awards celebrate the craftsmanship, skill and knowledge that goes into each stage of the process.
