We love Macmillan Nurses!

THE START OF SEPTEMBER MARKED THE BEGINNING OF OUR BIGGEST FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR, WE LOVE MACMILLAN NURSES!

There are lots of fundraising events happening across the business with teams going above and beyond raise vital funds for Macmillan. However, you decide to take part, whether it’s setting up your own fundraising event or taking part in one, you’re helping to make a difference to people living with cancer.
All money raised throughout September and October will go to support Macmillan professionals, including the amazing Macmillan nurses.
Check out some of the recent and upcoming fundraising efforts from our teams… Gary Howell, Alan Donnelly and Michael Harper (Abingdon Warriors) completed the Macmillan ‘Defeat the Peak’ challenge by climbing Mount Snowdon in the early hours of Sunday 1st September, starting at 12.30am! The team raised over £1,450 for Macmillan and were in the top 10% of fundraisers!
Martin Hayes, Matthew Whitlock, David Spencer, Mark Millett, Joe Chamberlain and Milly McKeown joined other Greene King team members to take on the Mere to Mountain challenge raising £4,448.
10 members of the B&B Finance team battled gladiator climbs, ice baths and lots of mud in their Tough Mudder challenge raising over £4,600. A fantastic fundraising effort from all those that participated in the B&B golf day and who attended Yardfest at Eastwood, and, shout out to Emma Hibbert and Sophie Knott for taking on impressive individual challenges
Peter Wood, Jack Palmer, Paul King, Leah Bevan, Sam Mitchell, Richard Farrow and Stuart Lloyd took on the mammoth challenge of cycling from Belhaven to Bury Brewery over just five days! Incredible effort!
