RNC terror group celebrates 10 years of failure RNC, with the help of Uganda’s Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI), has been involved in serious human rights abuses against Rwandans. In a strategy to forcefully recruit Rwandans into the terror organization’s training bases in Minembwe, South Kivu, DR Congo, they abducted whoever they believed to be of Rwandan origin, or Rwandans visiting Uganda, by the hundreds. They illegally detained, and tortured all those that refuse to join as per accounts of those that have been lucky to survive the dungeons, and later dumped at the border points.
By Fred Gashema Overseas based members of the Rwanda National Congress (RNC) terrorist group last Saturday blatantly took to social media platforms to mark the “10th anniversary” of the group’s existence, which observers portray as an “anniversary of absolute failure” The terror group was formed on October 12, 2010, by Rwandan fugitives led by self-exiled former army chief of staff Faustin Kayumba Nyamwasa, with people like Patrick Karegeya, Rudasingwa Theogene, Gervais Congo, and Gerald Gahima as his subordinates, with the intent to “overthrow” the Rwandan government. During what they dubbed a “celebration” that was held on RNC’s online hate radio, Itahuka, the group “general coordinator” Jerome Nayigiziki claimed that RNC through its military wing “P4” had been working towards “liberating Rwandans” over the last decade. RNC however is more infamous for perpetrating grenade attacks that claimed the lives of 17 innocent Rwandans and injuring or maiming 400 others between 2010 and 2014. “So, RNC is celebrating grenade attacks; it is rubbing salt in the wounds of the victims of their attacks,” commented a Kigali-based observer. “In any case who are they deceiving? They were defeated!”

against Nyamwasa for instance, as well as Benjamin Rutabana also at loggerheads with Nyamwasa. Rutabana, the former RNC “commissioner for capacity building” on more than one occasion accused Nyamwasa of embezzlement and nepotism. There also was divisionism that saw people like Théogene Rudasingwa and Gerald Gahima parting ways with the group, to form their own breakaway faction named “New-RNC” in mid-2016. The power struggle with RNC terrorist group intensified in late December 2017 with the terrorist
group’s president of youth wing Callixte Nsabimana, Noble Marara and dozens of others also parting ways, accusing it of “lacking vision.” These formed a splinter group called Rwandese Revolutionary Movement (RRM). Remnants of RNC and their armed wing “P5” have never ceased to receive substantial support that includes rebels’ recruitment and training, diplomacy as well as logistics from Uganda in an attempt to destabilize Rwanda, but all in vain. They have been neutralized.
The terrorist organization also tried to ally with other terror organization such as RNC, MRCD-FLN, FDLR, and FDU-Inkingi through what is called “Rwanda Bridge Builders” but infighting and greed once again was their undoing as other terrorist groups accused Nyamwasa of greed and embezzlement of member funds. RNC has been neutralized, both militarily and diplomatically and those who are celebrating its so-called tenth anniversary will end up facing justice too. “No one has ever succeeded in destabilizing Rwanda,” remarked an analyst.
Informed observers note that the ten years of RNC’s existence have been nothing but failure, from the very moment it was formed. It has been defined by conflict of interests, power struggles, embezzlement of its funds by Nyamwasa and members of his clique, and divisionism. Genocide suspects living freely in UK should be extradited to face justice!, senior British parliamentarian By Jean Gatera A British member of the House of Lords, Stuart Polak, is pushing for Rwandan genocide fugitives residing in the United Kingdom to be extradited and face justice. Early last week Lord Polak told the House of Lords that no fewer than five genocide suspects – Vincent Bajinya, Célestin Ugirashebuja, Charles Munyaneza, Emmanuel Nteziryayo and Célestin Mutabaruka – live in the UK “freely and receive full benefits.” Polak strongly called for the United Kingdom to try these people already or extradite them to be answerable for their crimes against humanity. The five suspects named by Lord Polak have been dodging justice by feeding the UK system a lot of false claims, according to various reports. One is that they are “innocent” but that if extradited to Rwanda their lives would be ” in danger”. For over 13 years these
men have misused asylum laws to find safe haven in the UK despite indictment for genocide and crimes against humanity. Each one of them claims that they would be “killed” if extradited to Rwanda to stand trial for their role in the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. But Lord Polak unmasked that cover and reminded the House that Rwanda abolished the death penalty almost 10 years ago. He said: “No fewer than five alleged Rwandan genocide perpetrators live freely in the UK, and receive full benefits. Yet France and Belgium amongst others have extradited those accused to face justice in the Rwanda justice system where the death penalty was abolished over 10 years ago.” A genocide scholar in Rwanda appreciated the exhortation of Lord Polak. “It is important that these genocidaire fugitives do not Genocide Vincent Bajinya alias Vincent Brown
find refuge forever under false pretenses,” said Tom Ndahiro a researcher, adding: “We also must not forget that these fugitives are still actively pushing the genocide ideology.” It is known that the genocidaires or their sympathisers promoted their agenda with pseudo-volunteering activities, posing as human rights activist. They engage in genocide denialism with outright negationism and revisionism with fabrications such as the long debunked double-genocide theory, and they do all that while living on British taxpayer money.

One notorious example is Rene Mugenzi who was recently convicted of stealing church money entrusted him by a parish in England. Another example is how the family of Celestin Mutabaruka masquerades behind his son’s “Amahoro Iwacu” platform to propagate Genocide Ideology; “They go as far as pretending to be victims of Genocide!” a source
in the UK said. Nicola Palmer, a Senior Lecturer at King’s College London, examined the correlation between international extradition to Rwanda and the credibility of the Rwandan judiciary. In over 122 cases, 20 countries extradited to Rwanda thus demonstrating that they trusted the Rwandan Judiciary, she noted. Some high profile genocide suspects include names like Jean Twagiramungu, Ladislas Ntaganzwa, Bernard Munyagishari, and Dr. Leopold Munyakazi. In Munyakazi’s case, he was extradited from the US, Rwandan courts cleared him of the charges of genocide, complicity to commit Genocide, incitement to commit Genocide and murder. He was only convicted of trivializing the Genocide. “The souls of the slaughtered Tutsis cry out for justice, but Britain has turned a deaf ear, we should be ashamed!” said Lord Polak.

RNC’s Mukankusi goes on terror group’s YouTube channel to entrap herself with lies By Joan Karera Canada-based Charlotte Mukankusi, 50, a failed diplomat in Rwanda who is the RNC terror group’s “head of diplomacy” last week was heard claiming that, Rwanda is “responsible for regional instability.” In the interview, that was broadcast live on RNC’s YouTube channel, Radio Itahuka, Mukankusi made a slew of propagandistic claims, saying among other things that “Rwanda always sends its soldiers in DR Congo to fight, and then repatriates Congolese nationals by force claiming they are Rwandan refugees,” but that “when they reach in Rwanda they get mistreated.” But if anyone could ask RNC terror propagandists for any evidence of Rwandan soldiers “fighting in DRC” they cannot find any. Observers know Kayumba Nyamwasa’s RNC has nothing
but lies after their fighters were thoroughly smoked out of their bases in eastern DRC in military operations to eradicate illegal armed groups that are the main cause of instability in the region. “After their fighters were killed and others captured alive, the RNC leadership licked their wounds and ran to their sponsors in Uganda,” security analysts laugh. “That is why someone like Charlotte Mukankusi can’t stop lying.” Her claims that Rwanda repatriates Congolese nationals are easily debunked. The people being repatriated are Rwandan nationals that for a long time were held hostage in Congo by groups such as the allies of RNC, the genocidal FDLR, and RNC itself. People like Mukankusi can’t claim that “Rwanda is forcing back refugees.” They choose to voluntarily go back home now that they are no
longer held hostage. The repatriation process is done with the involvement of UNHCR, the UN agency for refugees, and upon reaching home, they are re-educated, told about the good of living in their country, and given money as assistance to re-integrate in their societies. Mukankusi, who as a member of a terrorist group that is Kampala’s main proxy in plots to destabilize Rwanda’s security, was at the center of a scandal in March last year when it was exposed Uganda had issued her a passport. The words she was airing – such as claims backed with no facts that “Rwanda was sending spies into Uganda” – are aligned with the misinformation spread by websites controlled by Ugandan Military Intelligence. The passport, No. A00019997 was later cancelled by Uganda earlier this year after a serious public embarrassment for Kampala, and as one of the condi-
tions which were spelled out by the government of Rwanda during the third meeting of the Ad-Hoc Commission on the Implementation of the Luanda MoU. CMI, which runs RNC anti-Rwanda subversion, has been making unfounded claims about the alleged presence of Rwandan spies, something that Uganda has never shown proof of despite arbitrarily arresting hundreds of Rwandans on ‘spying’.
