PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Vipp Chimney sofa is one of the two models available in the Vipp sofa series. Named after Vipp Chimney House, our 3rd hotel room, the Chimney sofa features a rounded and compact design with a wood and steel construction carried by a slender frame of powdercoated steel. High quality HR foams are wrapped around a wooden interior frame. The configurable elements and a wide range of upholstery allow for endless modularity and personalisation. The sofa can be composed of up to 10 different units. One cushion per unit is included.

Soprano 03 – Vipp selection
Soprano 03 is a grey bouclé that gives Vipp sofas a tactile touch. “Bouclé” is French for loops and refers to the small curly loops that grant the fabric its character and softness. Discreet yet full of detail, the Soprano upholstery sets forth a level of uncompromising comfort.
Elle
Elle is a new textile by the premium fabric décor company, Sahco. With nearly two hundred years of experience in the world of textiles, elevated quality is a guarantee. French for ‘her’ or ‘she’, Elle is an upholstery that adds femininity, warmth and softness to a Vipp sofa with its heavy bouclé. The large bouclé loops accentuate the threedimensional character of the fabric while adding depth and thickness.
Safire
Kvadrat’s Safire textile is characterised by a coarse surface structure providing a subtle handwoven appearance as a unique dimension of this upholstery fabric. The combination of thick bouclé and chenille yarns contribute to its wooly feel and soft appeal but also adds a vibrant two-tone effect. Interwoven natural shades of warm grey and off-white hatch a subtle beige colour.

Together with textile specialists Sacho and Kvadrat, Vipp has created a unique version of the Safire upholstery. The name Sombre, meaning dark, refers to the predominantly dark-toned textile whereas Safire 04 offers a brighter beige. A thick bouclé in dark grey is interwoven with an off-white chenille yarn, fabricating a one of a kind 3D structure and graphic pattern. Material
Coda Kvadrat
Coda 2 232 from Kvadrat combines a graphic, textured surface and a sophisticated colour to very lively effect. From a distance it appears monochrome, but when zoom ing in the pattern reveals a second colour. Made from high-durability wool, Coda 2 232 is woven in two layers, one in light grey and a discreet burgundy layer underneath.
Saxophone
Its twill-structure and chevron pattern make Saxophone a recognizable, graphic fabric that stands out in Vipp’s curated upholstery range. Woven in wool, Saxophone is a thick fabric full of refinement and warmth. Ideal in a colder climate, a Vipp sofa in this fabric will provide a warm embrace.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS & MAINTENANCE
Characteristics
The fantastic comfort of the sofa is made from several elements working together. The seat cush ions are made with a lamination of two different foam types. Firm foam in the bottom to maintain the cushion shape and soft foam in the top to create a soft seating comfort. Both foams are high quality HR foam. Under the seat, the frame is made with Nozag springs to allow for sitting into the sofa and not on to the sofa.
In the front of the seat cushion, a wooden frame is placed inside the seat foam to keep the straight appearance of the cushion to match the elegant slim frame below the cushion.
The entire sofa is made with a soft touch feeling to give the same luxurious and comfortable feel to all surfaces of the sofa.
The backrest cushions are made from high quality feathers and downs. A combination which works together to create a beautiful, relaxed appearance while allowing the cushion to surround the body while seated.
Maintenance
For daily cleaning, use a vacuum with a soft brush or wipe the upholstery with a clean, dry cloth.
The backrest cushions need rearranging of the cushion filling by fluffing the pillows regularly. This is done to maintain the cushions appearance.
PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS
The sofa fulfils the requirements in EN 16139, test severity L2 and ANSI/BIFMA X5.4.
