iPhone 7 Plus Stuck In Black Screen After Opening Camera This is the first time we meet with the malfunction that 7P fails to take photos. The small Front camera works well but the Rear camera is not working. When we want to turn on the camera and take a photo, the screen turns black and stuck in black until we press Home bottom. Note: Pay attention that the two cameras are connected with each other. When we decide to disassemble the iPhone 7P Rear camera( VC602), you need to pry from the left side.

After replacing a new camera, the fault is the same as before.

Conclude by our repair experience, the iPhone 7P double camera

relies on the bigger camera to get image, as shown in Pic 15-5-1, the corresponding part on iPhone 7P motherboard is J4501 Pin, the

resistance value is normal after being tested with Fluke 15B+

digital multimeter, it reminds us of that iPhone6 Plus also encountered this situation, the power supply part has some problem.

Open WUXINJI schematic diagram, we can see the corresponding position of iPhone 7P camera, as shown in Picture 15-5-2.

iPhone 7P also has two power supply pipe, as shown in Picture 15-5-3. The corresponding part of J4501 is Q2501. Use soldering

iron at high temperature to take off U2501. Short jumper wire to the test machine (and the U3001 short connection method is the same).

In case of security, do not open iPhone directly, use power supply to see whether the voltage is abnormal.

We find that the current is normal, so we install the iPhone 7 to test camera function. Everything is normal now! The problem has been cleared.
