Some of you may have noticed that our Branch dates do not feature in the latest Beaded Wheels. The dates were submitted but an error has been made and so… we do not feature. I have received an apology and it does not really make any difference at our end, all dates are above. We welcome two new members to our Branch. Bruce Heyward and Zoe Gough from Reefton, they are motor cycle enthusiasts and own … A 1952 Panther – original A 1958 Ariel Huntmaster – restored A 1937 Royal Enfield J – original A 1947 Royal Enfield J2 – unrestored We look forward to meeting up with you on our outings. July Club Run was a garage raid organised by Colin. A visit was made to view Dave Kokshoorn’s collection of vehicles and to Paul Emery’s display of American vehicles and memorabilia. A much admired man-cave including a kitchen which supplied some tasty bits and pieces, all in all, a great trip. This was followed by lunch at the Australasian Hotel. We had 58 for the garage raid and 49 for lunch. Good going and a happy Club Captain Colin. This month we have the National Daffodil Day, this falls on our normal Club Run day. Please help us advertise this day as the proceeds stay here with the local Cancer Society. Next year we will be hosting the National AGM on the 16th & 17th August. Plans are already being made and some assistance may be requested.
EVENT ELSEWHERE I now have entry forms for the Nelson/Marlborough Biennial Rally. This year the rally will be hosted by Marlborough Branch.
PLEASE NOTE – If it is not suitable to you to use your Club eligible vehicle on the Branch runs, you are more than welcome to come along in your modern as we welcome your company.
