The Brite Star kids gathered around Ms. Susan. Today, they were learning the alphabet with pictures! "What starts with 'A' in this picture?" Ms. Susan asked, showing an apple. "Apple!" answered Iris.
Next was a picture of a bear. "B for bear!" Ivy excitedly shouted. "What starts with 'C'?" Ms. Susan asked, pointing at a cat. "Cat!" Joey giggled.
Next, Ms. Susan showed a dog. "D for dog!" Lily proudly declared. She then revealed an elephant picture. "E for elephant!" Duke said, trumpeting like an elephant.
The next picture was of a frog. "F!"
Dan shouted, hopping about. Ms. Susan showed a goat picture. "G for goat!" Emma called out.
"H for?" she asked, showing a hat picture. "Hat!" Joey chimed in. "I for?" Ms. Susan said, holding an iguana picture. "Iguana!" Liam eagerly responded.
Next was a picture of a jellyfish. "J for jellyfish!" Sara exclaimed. Then Ms. Susan showed a picture of a kite. "K for kite!" said Tommy, smiling.
Ms. Susan held up a picture of a lion. "L for lion!" cheered Emma.
Next, a monkey picture was shown. "M for monkey!" shouted Sam.
"N for?" she asked, showing a nest picture. "Nest!" Bobby called out. Then she showed an owl picture. "O for owl!" Lilly said wisely.
The next picture was of a penguin. "P for penguin!" Danny said. Ms. Susan then showed a picture of a queen. "Q for queen!" Jane announced.
"R for?" Ms. Susan asked, holding a rabbit picture. "Rabbit!" shouted Lucy. "S for star!" exclaimed Max as Ms. Susan showed the star picture.
"T for?" she asked, showing a turtle picture. "Turtle!" shouted Timmy. "U for umbrella!" Emily said as Ms. Susan showed the umbrella picture.
"V for?" Ms. Susan asked, holding a violin picture. "Violin!" shouted Victor. "W for whale!" Yelled Olivia as Ms. Susan showed the whale picture.
"X for xylophone!" cheered Charlie. Ms. Susan held up the yak picture. "Y for yak!" said James.
Finally, Ms. Susan showed a picture of a zebra. "Z for zebra!" the class shouted together, completing their alphabet adventure.
